Our dear friend and fellow dancer passed away in December 2017. Here are just a few words to express our feelings. |
How do I sum up Cliff? Enthusiasm? Yes enthusiasm for…well everything, for life itself. There were no half measures with Cliff. He joined Guith Morris saying he wouldn’t dance much! Well, he turned into one of our best dancers (still not too keen on Hankies though! ) His sense of fun and constant smile were an inspiration. Need a hand with some job or other, Cliff’s the man. He soon found himself volunteering with the Steam Railway, building, erecting, repairing, it was all in a day’s work for the ever-willing Cliff. What will they do without him? Then of course there’s The Chain Ferry Gang. Who will ever forget the enthusiastic nutter, bashing hell out of the washboard and leaping about front of stage. But mostly our Cliff will be remembered for his smile and ready, generous, friendship. He will be sadly missed by so many of us. We can now only offer our love and support to Liz and their family.
